What’s on: February half term
With half term just around the corner, it’s time to take a look at what’s on offer around Peterborough, Stamford and Bourne for kids. From nature walks to solving crimes, there’s bound to be something here to keep the kids amused.

Hills and Holes in Barnack
Hills and Holes near Barnack, Stamford, is an old limestone quarry with undulating hills and hollows; great for running up and down with the kids and also dogs.

Burghley House pumpkin trail
Autumn and Halloween fun at at Burghley House this half term. The pumpkin trail runs until Sunday 2 November in the Sculpture Garden.

Burghley through the seasons
Burghley House in Stamford is a great place to visit with children. Kids will enjoy a day out, running around in the acres of parkland, or perhaps having a splash about in the Gardens of Surprise.

Play time at the Bythams Spinney
The Bythams Spinney is a lovely woodland play area with slides, swings, climbing frames, a zip wire, under 5 play equipment and plenty of space to run about it. All about 15 minutes from Stamford, and all free.
